When I think of us at out bottom, I think of vultures, yes the bird, but the human form too. The lowest of the low, waiting until the screw up happens and then they just attack.
haha Brats made from a sloth.. Sorry, couldn’t help myself!
anyway, when we have those moments in our life when we are weak, when we are caught in our sin, our circumstances, our human-ness, it seems to be when we are attacked the most. This comes even as a mom (to MANY)… seems like they (the little ones) of all people can sense our weakest points! They know when we’re tired, they know when we’re stressed, hormonal – (they know more than Santa Claus!)
Anyway, my new goal is to work on my
peeps children, not attacking each other when they are down but uplifting them and encouraging them!
Here are some verses we’re going to be working on memorizing!
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. 1 Thess. 5:11
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Eph.4:29
Hmmm.. wonder if this Word would be very good for anyone else?
With great grace ~
